Heimat: Wollboutique

Whenever I walk home to my Hamburg house, I pass this small nearby wool shop. It’s the last of a few significant spots that structure the walk in my mind. Whenever I see it, I know: You are almost home. I don’t knit myself, but I think I may start.

This was my contribution to the exhibition “Heimat” (english: home, belonging), a collaboration between 50 Colombian and 50 German illustrators. Exhibited at Fabrik der Künste, Hamburg, Germany, 2019, and at Casatinta, Bogotá, Colombia, 2020
